About Us

What is The Social?

The Social is a microschool that supports families by providing weekly opportunities for skill development through hands-on and play-based learning, vocation exploration, and project-based learning for kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Founded by public school educators, researched based and committed to education freedom, The Social is redefining the home school experience by offering a hybrid approach that provides parents with a strong ally as they build the best education experience for their children.

Activities

What's a normal day like?

We are all about fun and exploration. Think of the best parts of school day that include play, making, fun, birthdays, holidays and a positive classroom environment.

Type of Activities

K-5 enjoy various crafts and kinesthetic activities that build curiosity, creativity and positive group interaction. 6th-8th grade is all about awesome PBL projects. High school includes awesome science and PBL projects.

When We Meet

Multiple half day programs available. For example, a two day class would happen on Tues, Thurs 9:30AM - 11:30AM. See program page for more details.

Snack Time

Students bring their own snack to munch on with their friends. Sometimes there are class parties too!

Atmosphere

We operate like a one room school house and enjoy multi age and grade level programs for K-5, middle and high school
